It's very black. Definately matches better with the chrome and black controls and the bridge pickup. Can it be made a bit smaller or less shiny?

Make a clear one, photograph the body beside the pickup rout and get it printed, stick it to the underside of the clear cover...

That's a cool idea, would have to get the scaling spot on.

Don't mind this one after a bit of fiddling.

Think it looks better than black. Looks huge, but not much room for screws. And it should darken up a bit once the Tru oil sets in.

    She's finally complete!

Plays a treat, intonated well and stays in tune nicely.

Here's a quick sound demo, nothing special just running thru each of the 4 pickup configurations per riff/sound. Order is series, neck, parallel and bridge.

Good work! And it sounds great. And lovely playing too.

Interestingly I couldn't really hear much difference between the first three settings. The bridge sounded much weaker compared to the others but other than that really couldn't hear much change.

Thanks mate, yeah after listening to that back, I need to raise the bridge a little. Each position definately sounds different, I think the series and neck is where it's at for me
