First run over with the Ultimate compound. Ferrules installed and shielding done.ran a piece of wire thru the bottom to all routes so the shielding is all making connection. Still Tru oiling the headstock. Next for the electronics.

Scored some Meguiar's polish today that my old man had in his garage as the next stage in finish. Win win, that stuff ain't cheap. Will do electronics and get everything ready for fitting before I try it though.

Looking good. That finish is looking nice & smooth. What will the polish add?

As I'm opting for no pickguard to show off the grain, had to knock up a mount for the neck pup.

Almost on the home stretch now. Frets levelled and crowned. Next it's assembly time.

I noticed something in your wiring, the orange drop. I just happened to come across this today. And it looks like it痴 .47 capacitor.

Thoughts on this pickup cover I fabricated?

The wooden one hasn't worked out the way I wanted it too. Don't mind the black and chrome all offsetting each other. Just noticed I positioned the control plate backwards here too for the photo, whoops. It'll be traditional direction when mounted properly.
