Finished sanding tonight. Ive wet the body so I'll give it another sand tomorrow. Hopefully my shellac should turn up on wendesday so I can spray the body ready for grain filler

Change of plans now also. This is going to be a Butterscotch finish now, not a paisley.

Sprayed a couple of coats of shellac. Will let it sit for 24 hours before I sand and begin grain filling, which is definitely my most hated part of guitar building lol

    Soooo back to a pasiley

I was going to bind it top and bottom but thinking I'll burst instead now

Not sure what's the best finish to go with but
Has anyone used ironlak or similar graffiti paint? They've got great colours available.

Cheers, did you use their clear also? I'm thinking I'll clear over the vinyl, then spray the burst, then clear again
