I'm still to be convinced that the truss rods in the PBG necks are all two-way units.

So I think this might be fixed. I have tweaked up the rod a couple of times while it was under string tension. Not surprised as it would need time to settle back in, but eventually I had it holding adjustment for two weeks. Fingers crossed it's sorted out.

Pulled it all apart and did a quick refinish with satin poly. I didn't end up staining the Oak and I'm glad as it's got a nice contrast to the maple. Will let this fully cure and then re-assemble and go through the adjustment/tensioning process again.

And its' all back together and seems AOK. Will wait and see how it settles over the next month, but I'm thinking I may have solved it.

Prob need to give it good clean now.

Thanks Simon. It was a great learning experience and even better that I managed to get it back together at all.
