Here are a couple of photos of the acrylic templates with the paper removed.

I've got a 3/16" trim bit on its way from the U.S. to be able rout the F holes on my working template and the actual body.

I'd done a really rough cut to fit the blank through the thicknesser and this week I got it thicknessed to around 39.5mm which gives me some margin for final thickness after sanding to be around 38mm (add the top being around 6mm for final thickness of 44mm). Now marked up ready to rough cut properly.

Nice, busily working away on my own templates at the moment, can't wait to get them cut, but I keep thinking of changes and different approaches. I learnt a lot from the first round on my Flying V build.

My special order router bit arrived this week from the U.S. 3/16" diameter flush trim with bearing to do the f holes.

Thanks for the inspiration (and everyone else in this section). Today is the day I’ve decided to build an arch top (...but not today today).

That is exactly where the FrankenLab madness is intended to lead. Probably via an Acoustic (or 2!)

I already have the PDF files for a couple of Benedetto models, printed and waiting (and a G double, an F double, a couple of super strats, PRS SE, and the potential build list goes on, but I don’t have a problem I can stop any time I like )
