    My first build GTL-1

Gíday, this is my first time on this sort of thing,
My GTL-1 kit showed up today, just over a week after I ordered it. Iím pretty impressed with that.
Iíve done the mock build, all seems good, the neck is slightly loose in the cavity but nothing a shim wonít fix and the pick guard is too tight but should also be an easy fix.
Iím pretty excited to get into it and look forward to tapping into the collective knowledge of the community.

I really wasnít looking forward to the neck and frets but it wasnít too bad. I got lucky with the frets, only had two high ones, theyíve polished up a treat with some 400, 600, 800 grit then 0000 steel wool.

Yeah Iím really happy with it hey. I wanted something different to the standard Tele style, I just traced around the curve of some washers and the cut it out on the band saw
