had a similar intonation issues with mine Mark... Low side was fine but used 20mm bolts on the saddles on the high end instead of the 15mm bolts supplied. That sorted it for me.... If I had to dowl and drill I may have called it quits. Full points for perseverance to you man.
Hi Steve, yes I was glad that it occurred before I had the final paint finish.
BTW How did you get on with the JM-1 tremolo?
I didn't even fit mine as I was going with the 'Jazzmaster' style instead.
I have been considering putting it on one Strat clone instead of the 6 screw version.
I'm assuming it's similar to the 2 point strat style tremolo.
[edit] BTW As I prised it off to measure the 2 anchor holes...well you buy cheap and nasty....
So I'm in the market for something a bit higher up the 'quality' scale.
cheers, Mark.

It's always a pain to go back and redo your work, I know.
Happy that someone else has found a mod I've done to be useful.
Cheers
Grant
cheers, Grant. Still it's good to get it 'improved'.
Well it's now completed, up to a point.
The tremolo has never worked to my liking. I'll investigate it some other time.
Plays really well but it did so before I had to re-do the bridge.
Not a basket case anyway.
I'll have to work out how to upload video again.
cheers, Mark
Hi Shambrick. Yes, I do them myself.
There was a tutorial on how to do transfers somewhere.
Not a lot to it.
I got some transparent laser decal paper. in A4 size.
I'm using Abobe Illustrator.
Reverse the image so you can paint the silver part on the back within the edge of the lettering.
Print the image on A4 paper first and then cut the amount of decal paper to cover it.
Print it again and then paint in the silver (or whatever colour)
Apply the decal right side up.
cheers, Mark.
After a considerable wearing-in period, thought I'd assault some ears with a demo of this monstrosity.
Getting a constant buzz that isn't present in my other builds.
Shall investigate in due course.
