    Gaday Pit Buller's

New arrival to Guitar Kit building just received a ES-1 and PBG-2 this week, got to love birthdays hey !!
Have been toying with the idea of building a guitar for a while now ,not enough tools to have a crack at a scratch
build .... yet. So after searching around the webs for a while decided to have a shot with you all. looks like a strong community support willing to chip in helpful advice. There are plenty of outstanding builds being posted ,guitars of the month love it!!

I've played guitars on and off for years now thoroughly enjoy it ! I'll loose hours in what seems minutes when I'm
playing they're meditative, inspirational, a freakin' shot of Adrenalin and just so damn cool to look, at least that's what
    they're to me.

I've built amps and pedals [not my designs no physic's expert here], enjoyed the process and being able to have something that's enjoyable to use at the end of the process is very satisfying indeed. That said I am looking forward to
starting these two builds pretty sure they will help scratch the itch !!

So Cheers to You all I'll be starting a build diary soon !

    Welcome to the forum Cracker.
Doing 2 kits at the same time is a good idea as it helps you get over the impatience of waiting for part of a build to be ready for next stage. Waiting on layers of finish to cure being the most obvious.
ES1 can be a bit challenging first up and plenty of help is never far away.
Good luck with your new addiction as it is hard to stop once you get started.
    Cheers, Waz

Thanks Fella's looking forward to this experience !
It's a pretty clear path in my mind where to take the ES-1, although noted Wazkelly I do expect
it to be a challenge and no doubt will have a few questions. As for the PBG-2 that could end anywhere
have a few ideas but not settled on anything ,now that I can hold it in hand and get a better
feel for the possibilities should help!

It's best to have a flexible plan, let the kit have its say in the process.
My last build ended very well but way different than expected.
Email just in telling me a JRM-1DC arrives tomorrow, I hope it likes me :-)
