    7 string replacement nut

    Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has replaced the plastic nut on their 7 string kits and whether you had any luck finding anything that came close to dropping right in. Coming close to the end of my exa7 build and the stock unit definitely looks more suited to slide guitar at the moment. Rather than trying to remedy this one I'd rather go for something with a bit more tuning stability. I've had a bit of a look around and the market looks a bit limited.

    Hi Golden Number

Bought one of these for an IB7 kit a few years ago. That build still isn't finished but the graphite nut has the same string spacing as the plastic kit one and once positioned properly you will need to trim the ends to be flush with the fretboard.

Not the best pics, is still listed on evilbay at around $14 AUD inc postage.
