Hi,
My son and I (15 and 47 - work out who is what age) are building a guitar. We have been learning about how to paint and sand and fix mistakes. We have learned lots.

We are polishing the guitar (again) and there is one area where the top coat is gone and there is definitely red paint rubbing off as we polish. The area is the front bottom edge. Not very big.

We have used Dulux dura max gloss clear coat spray (acrylic) - standard bunnings.

My question for the forum, and I thank you all in advance, is -Iis there a way we can wipe or roll or brush on an equivalent acrylic top coat in this small area and then sand and polish it back, or do I need to keep spraying? Perhaps we can ignore it and just complete the guitar.

Thanks,
Gordon
