    Follow the smoke toward the riff filled land...

    Hey dudes!

    My name is Mike. I've completely rewired, stripped and repainted, modified and frankensteined a few guitars and basses over the years but never built one from scratch. I AM EXCITE!

    Musicwise I play bass about 90% of the time and it's primarily prog/doom. I just bought the RD-4 Bass kit so I'll be picking everyone's brains for the next few weeks on my first build. I picked this kit because A. I've always loved the RD shape and B. I've come to realize the simple double Jazz pickup configuration is the best for awesome, fuzzy, grindy bass tones.

    Smoke all of the weed. Hail Sabbath. Praise Iommi.

    I’d love to, but I’m not nearly a good enough guitar player to justify one. Plus I’m more of a bass player.

    I do go 8 string when I’m feeling fancy though:
