I made this for a friend as a gift after he and his wife had their third boy.
it's a fully functioning wall hanger!
Swamp ash body + fence paling cap and old school sign writing.
Knowing it would mostly be hung on the wall I went aesthetics over function, but also knowing it would get pulled down and played every now and then I went with the simplicity of single humbucker and a volume. The gold hardware and maple neck set it off really nice.
Nicely done, has a fantastic look with the aged signwriting look.
