    To add to the 'stupid things I have done on this build' list. I worked out why I was getting no sound during initial testing stages, I managed to put a pickup ring screw straight through the bridge pickup wire severing 2 wires. Grrrrr! Back to the soldering iron.....

    Well the pickup ring screw hole goes directly over the passage to the pot cavity on the rear. Much swearing was involved, but at least I found the issue. All re joined and reinstalled now. Time for finishing touches and testing

    Just checked on my EX-1 and I could very well have experienced the same thing. Short screw only for that corner! Thanks for the warning.
