Well generally pretty happy with result, very shiny glass like finish. A little bit of cleaning up to do from some small runs. Also need to rebate around post holes to get nice surface to put the posts in. It looks as if some of the expoxy has penetrated the image and left it a bit 'wet' looking, it is not quite as sharp as the original image. In hindsight maybe I could have used waterproof paper if it comes that large, or printed onto vinyl but I needed to keep the costs down and this is always going to be my build, and not one I would sell.
Well like many builds here it is 2 steps forward and 3 back. After initial epoxy pour I had some issues with graphics lifting from body and I cracked the epoxy when smoothing off around the post holes. The decision was made to lift it all off and go again, this time using a vinyl print rather than sealed paper. I must say I'm glad I did, because the vinyl print looks amazing and won't suffer the bleed issues that the paper had. I have now applied the graphics and cut it all out ready to epoxy again, fingers crossed this one works.
Woo hoo. Looks great and like it fits nicely.

Yeah fits well, epoxy is poured and levelled. Doing a fine grit final wet sand on neck then hopefully later this week attach the two so it looks like a guitar at least.
Starting to get shiny, still got body to go, but happy with neck and custom fretboard.
Finished the polish, now to join the bits and wire it up.
