    IB-7 Build

Completed my IB-7 build today. Apart from a few minor issues with the wiring colour code for Entwistle being slightly different from the norm, I'm really pleased with the finished product.

It's finished in a black hammertone paint (8 mist coats to be precise) and a few clear coats to give the finish depth

This looks great! Planning to do one of these after the IB5 I'm halfway through.

    COYG for the Europa final!

It’s come really well and it’s a bit of a different finish from the norm. I’ve still got an IB 5 almost finished. I’m having some issues with the wiring. I had another go at it today and restrung it with a set of Ernie Ball Super Slinkys. It sounds unreal but still only got one pup.

The Gunners did alright in the end to get 5th. We’ll take the silverware for Europa instead with pleasure

    Quick question

Hey mate with your ib7. Did the neck butt right into the back of the neck cavity? I just got mine today and the round part on the heel of the neck at the bottom hasn't been machined properly and it's preventing it from butting right into the back of the neck cavity. Did your do that? I may have to match the bottom one with the top one otherwise to achieve this.

I don’t remember any problems with the neck joint or any part of the build. You may just need to shape the heel to get it to fit in snuggly. I actually set the neck on mine and shaped the heel into the body. Have you contacted Pitbull?
