I hope I can get a bit more done over the next few days. I really want to get the back and sides 'timbermated' so I can finish the dye and clear coat it.

Slowly slowly.
That's about 10mins after applying it.
I also want to add a middle s-type pickup. What's the best way to cut out the hole? I am thinking drill press with a forstner bit and a trimmer/router to tidy it up? The tricky part will be cutting out the hole in the pickguard I guess?
Oh and the neck is close to being finished.
