Apparently this colour
known as "opaque couché" or Pantone 448c has been voted as the ugliest colour to ever exist. Some of you will recognise it as the colour of all cigarette packaging in Australia (a subliminal discouragement tactic).
I now desperately want to paint a guitar this colour.... weird.

Reminds me of mashed peas that mum used to make when I was a kid.
My brother and I called it caterpillar green because this was the colour of their guts when we squashed them
Valiants came out in Deep Chartuse Metallic which is pretty similar and also my favourite Mopar colour.
I wonder how the survey was conducted.....

You can get a very expensive ESP limited series guitar in that colour.

I figured colour was like sound, and that value judgments were made contextually.
For example, if I asked you to name the ugliest note or chord, it would depend on it's contextual role (the notes/chords either side of it). I assumed it was the same with colour: That particular colour would look great with some colours but not so much with others.
Armies the world over seem to like that colour.
Perfect colour for any of these kits....
