    Thanks Dave. The guitar I just sold had a Tonerider Octane bridge so I'll happily get another Tonerider.

    I'll probably recycle the Wilkinson Tele bridge as the string through holes didn't match with Squier holes.

    That's not a million miles from what was in my head. edit: and in fact I think the fret-board is probably spot on.
    I was thinking one extra string though.

    Keef dropped the other E string so the numbers are OK

    The tuner holes seem to be better aligned than previous 2 necks.
    However, I think they are in the wrong place, so first task is to fill 'em in and start again.
    I can see some dealing with veneer in the near future and boy, I'm lookin' forward to that.

    Stick the tuners in and see how well the nut slots and sting posts align. The post diameters are less than the hole diameters, so use the actual tuners to see how straight the pull will be.
