    Time for a quick update.

    I have glued the body together and started final shaping.

    Next day, getting ready to start final shaping. As I get older I’m finding the power-supply for my Shinto rasp needs more rests and regular recharging.

    Next will be final shaping, dummy assembly to position the bridge and adjusting routing for pickups. Then some work on the neck and frets.

    Stay tuned.

    Wow, looking at your projects you dont have any problem with "just using hand tools". Great job

    @Sonic, John, Scott, and stan,
    Thanks guys, appreciate the support.

    @Nitro
    Thanks mate. The only real difference between hand tools and power tools is the time it takes to get things done. And besides, routers scare me. Lol.

    It's a hobby that I really enjoy, I have lots of time, so it was a no brainer for me when I decided to go "old school".

    Thanks guys

    Routers scare me too, but I like it!
    I really like where this is going Robin, another fantastic hand crafted epic.

    With good reason! I think if I hadn't had kids, and my time hadn't become so compressed, I would never have picked one up. They do make things quick though. I figure if I maintain my terror I'm more likely to be safe
