Geez. That's just like my place.
Except I don't have the rack space.

    cheers, Mark.

Got the replacement bridge in the mail today, but unfortunately they accidentally sent me a leftie lol.

So close, and yet so far...

My daughter very generously gave me her cold, so I'm off work. Figured it was a good excuse to get this wired up.

It's not the best wiring job in the world, but it's definitely the best I've done so far!

Tap test on the pickups show they are all activating the way they should. When I get the right bridge in the mail I'll string it up and see what it sounds like.

The Gotoh pots feel really nice, though I'm not as sold on the push/pull. Anyway, will see once it's strung.

Here I am always hunting for anything left and you just get it in the mail, haha.

I'm a bit late to your rebuilt, but starting to look great!

    That looks pretty tidy John!
I'd just be a little concerned with that green(ish) lead coming off the HB. It looks like it's under tension coming off the switch, but it may just be the way it looks from the camera's perspective.

    What did use for pickups?

Nice and tidy, once the wiring is in the cavity the tension will come of that green wire.

Hmmm, I think it must be the camera angle, because there's a fair bit of wriggle room. Also, to actually get it in the guitar the HB wires all got shifted sideways between the switch and the HB, so I don't think any of them should be under tension.

Pickups are GFS that I got on special awhile ago, so interested to see how they go. Can always swap them again if need be, but they're sure to be a hundred times better than what was in there originally lol

Does a guitar in the cupbord make someone a guitaraholic?

    It lives!

Finally got the new bridge, but it was actually shoddier quality than the original so I trashed it for parts, and used the new saddles, screws and springs to replace the ones of the old bridge. Gave it a bit of a polish and it looks great.

Just needs to be set up properly, but the electronics all work the way they should and there's no weird buzzing or unexpected hum

The light in our house is terrible at night, so I'll try to get a pic in daylight
