Not a whole lot of building at the moment, mostly just watching poly dry, so I decided it was time to reorganise the workshop. Not 100% done, the desk on the left is in to be restored and will be leaving early next year when my eldest moves out. Still need to sort out the draws under the main bench and a few other things (Better lights, better roof insulation etc etc), but after 2 days of purging and re jigging its now a usable space again. Also picked up a smallish band saw and a new bench grinder to replace my old faithful which finally burnt out - I've had it since uni.. so nearly 25 years and it was a second hand cash convertors job when I got it...

Hopefully this will all help The Deluxester Prototype 2 build happen a bit faster than the current one.

Heh, they know better . The other half of the shed is my office/studio and there are weekly rehearsals and D&D sessions that happen in here too, so it’s always being tidied and setup differently for the different activities. I have various folding tables and such hidden away. If you don’t commit some regular time to keeping it sorted it quickly becomes unusable for anything. This re-sort I finally put away the last of my mechanics stuff as I’m just not interested in fooling with cars anymore. It’s freed up a lot more room for guitar stuff

The addition of a bandsaw has seen my family too scared to enter the lab.
