    FrankenLab Experiment #5

So in one of his eBay binges, Igor inexplicably bought a very tidy black ST body.
The issue is it is left handed. I am a righty. The sensible thing to do would have been to flick this on or swap it to a lefty for a righty.
The FrankenLab is not renowned for Sensible.
So here we go! Reverse Hendrix ST!

Neck is scratchbuild in maple and will have 21 frets, dual action head adjusted TR and the board will be recycled Ironwood.
Body will be untouched as it is in really good condition.
PUPs are up in the air at present, but I am leaning towards a 3SC, 5way arrangement though possibly only 1V 1T.
    Let the games commence!

I started thinning out the ironwood for the board, it was about 3/8" (9.3 ish mm for those that don't Imperial). I'm shooting for about 5.5mm.
My fretting jig got pressed into service for the dressing down. It really has proved a useful tool.

A quick sand and a gum turps rubdown and this is what we got

Me likey!! In a safe and responsible workshop manner of course!

Pfft in my day we tilted our head back and squinted for safety and I don't hear anyone complaining.

It's actually what I use to fret slot boards JB, I figured it could be multipurpose.

Lovely stuff, Frankie. Will you manage to locate the frets so that they don't pass through the few small knots in the ironwood?
