Epic build, well done. Love the input jack plate.

Extra long chrome flatwounds would have cost plenty but worth it as they are so silky smooth and seem to last forever. I have a regular length set on a cheap P Bass fretless conversion done a while ago and they are definitely best way to go when frets are missing.

They really are lovely strings, I still cant quite believe what a difference they have made, I'll be ordering a short scale set for my other bass. And yeah normally around $70 AUD or $80+ if you go into a store - but I have a secret weapon a mate put me onto.

Sure you have to wait a bit for delivery, but the prices are incredible and the customer service is awesome - there are always picks and stickers in the order as extras and because its so cheap I just do bulk purchases (once I know what I like). Its great to always have a bunch of gauges on hand.

I use them myself. I get emails from time to time advertising free shipping for a two day period. As a result I’ve never paid for shipping or know how much that costs. Prices for guitar flat wounds are very good.

This has been getting regular use, very happy that she is picking it up and practising everyday.

Too shy for a sound demo, but here's a pic
