Certainly is.... and when you ask them 'Tell me what you think of it? good and bad, be brutal', and the worst is that the denim on the back of the body sticks to your shirt so the guitar doesn't move about like every other guitar does... for me there is a certain validation in that at so many levels...(check the video as Brian has to lift the guitar away from his chest to move it...lol) ...

Yeah, and the neck PU is more a jazz players pickup and not so much for Blues lead and replacing it with a 'twisted tele' would make it shine, and it needs a string tree on the high E and B strings which I didn't originally include as for my playing it didn't need one ... but the setup is great, and for vintage frets it's quite a quick and easy neck to play...

All were comments which I thought were totally fair...

    An update....

Bought a "Wicked T" neck PU from the 'True Custom Shop' in the US of A....

Apparently it is very similar to a Fender Twisted Tele PU. but at a quarter the cost the Wicked T is far more wallet tolerable.

And the main reason for the upgrade was the recommendation by Brian (the guy who plays the guitar in the linked video earlier in this thread), the friend of Shane of "intheblues" YouTube fame...

Yes, the Wicked T sounds awesome...

Ohh, I really like the design you've chosen for your guitar. I love the color so much.

I'm in the process of doing some hardware upgrades on my two Fender guitars, a USA Standard Stratocaster, and a Mexican Telecaster, I'm doing the following hardware upgrades:

    USA Standard Stratocaster:

    * Replace all the stock Fender tuners with a set of 6-in-line open Chrome Staggered-height Hipshot Griplock locking-tuners.

    * Replace the SuperVee Bladerunner bridge with a new Jeff Beck 2-point Stratocaster bridge.

    * Replace the original three trem-springs and spring claw+mounting screws with the ones that came with the new Jeff Beck Stratocaster bridge.

    * Install a new Fender LSR roller-bearing nut.

    * Remove the existing string-tree as it won't be needed.

    Mexican Telecaster:

    * Replace the stock bridge with a new chrome Babicz FCH Telecaster bridge.

    * Replace the Fender tuners with a set 6-in-line open Chrome Staggered-height Hipshot Griplock locking-tuners.

    * Install a new Fender LSR roller-bearing nut.

I've already got most of the new hardware, just waiting on the new Hipshot Griplock locking-tuners to arrive in the post, just checked the postal-tracking and it said that they are in Sydney, been no new updates for a few weeks so I'm wondering what's going on.

I'm keeping the pickups though as they're sounding great.
