Pickguards

We received some sample Pickguards from another Chinese supplier.


There's a White TL (3 Ply), and 1 ply White ST, Black PB and Black JB.

They look to be superior quality, compared to the pickguards we get from our Kit supplier

Offering these free to a good home, as long as they can be shipped with an order (just don't want to pay shipping on top of the cost)

So, if you need a new pickguard, just send me a message with your next order.

Have you checked how they fit on PBG kits with regard to neck width and pickup cavity placement etc?

Hey all,

I was the lucky recipient of a White 3 ply TL style scratchplate and a Black one Ply JB style scratchplate.

These pickguards will fit the PBG kits.

IMHO these plates are slightly better than the ones supplied by the PBG kits as the shape is slightly more generous and in a bit more in line with the actual name brands.

In the photo of the TL style you will see:-
1. An allparts black 3ply TL style scratchplate;
2. A standard Black 1 ply PBG scratchplate;
3. The new white 3 ply scratchplate.

In the photo of the JB stly you will see:-
1. the new Black 1 ply JB style scratchplate;
2. A PBG white 3ply JB style scratchplate.

I can hardly see much difference? Maybe an overlaid shot might show up the outline or profile differences. The lower horns on both seem to be a bit slimmer perhaps?

Yeah very slim differences, so much so that overlay doesn't show much up. on the TL style the horn and the LH top both have a bit more meat on them.

And a bit more pointy lower horn on the JB plate.

I like the one ply look.

More specifically, any that will fit a TL-1TB?
