Well here I am scraping and to say I'm scared is an understatement!!! I can tell you right now, I would make a rubbish surgeon!!

I am getting through it, slowly, and starting on the back.

Might borrow one of my daughters nappies when I get to the front

Take it nice and slowly on the scraping. Eventually you'll get into the groove and even find it relaxing!

Hey Jeffo the build coming along nicely. Do you mean cleaning the stain off the binding in the F holes ? I think some people have glued sandpaper to a round object such as a pencil with maybe 2 different grits and use that to rub the stain off. Some of it you may be able to get off with careful use of a blade but would finish with the sandpaper

Well there you have it. Scraped and first coat of clear final applied. That was one of the scarier things I've done in a long time.

Only one little mishap, where I slipped just near the lower f-hole. All in all, pretty bloody happy. It's going to be a long wait for the replacement waterslides!!

it's come up very nice Jeffo, what is the stain is it wudtone or a dye ? EDIT just saw its wudtone azure lagoon, I've used that. Just beware some wudtone stains I have used years ago have faded. Think the azure builds have kept their colour ok so you should be fine.
love the colour. How the hell do you get away with that drying setup in the middle of your lounge ?

Thanks mate. Pretty chuffed so far. I'm already pondering my second build! I'm going to need to get better at playing before I reckon my wifey will approve!

I'm enlisting the help of a mate with the wiring. I know I'm cheating, but hey?!

The finish is Azure Lagoon from Wudtone.

It's a second living area which I have taken hostage as my own. Turntables, guitars, TV for when the footy is on, and guitar workshop it would seem!
