Hi Chris and welcome. All the best for your build and your guitar playing. Just keep practising and you'll get there. I never thought I'd get the hang of it when I first started playing, but I can do a reasonable job of it these days.

Thanks guys for the welcomes, appreciate it, got my mail today saying it has been shipped, feeling like an excited 16 year old at the moment....I'm guessing a week for it to arrive here, plenty of time for some digging and research on the forum

Hi Chris, I am a Newbie like you. If you don't mind me asking(it's ok if you don't want to answer), what made you choose PitBull guitars? I would've thought there would be someone more 'local' for you. How long will shipping take?
I started mt ST-1 today. It is exciting. Hope it all goes well for you.

Welcome Chris and hope you enjoy the ride.

Most of us here are infected with GAS....Guitar Acquisition Syndrome as it is impossible to stop at one.

    Cheers, Waz

Hi mate, did a lot of research for kits available in the UK, most had bad reviews, Pitbull came up time and time again with good reviews so took the plunge, it got shipped on Friday, so I am guessing with customs and UK couriers around 8-10 days, not too bad if the kit is a lot better than what we can get here

It took exactly two weeks for my kit to arrive here in The Netherlands. Customs took only one day to proceed.

Yes, two weeks is about the norm. In the UK it gets delivered by the Royal Mail, and they normally sit on it for a week after it arrives before sending out the customs payment required note. It will spend far more time in the UK before it gets to you than it did getting here!

I have no doubt about that, and there will be no notification of delivery, just a slip through the door.... you wasn't in...luckily enough the parcel depot is quite near me
