    EXG-7 scale length. 25.5" or 24.75"?

This has just been brought up by a new forum member, Stefan, with an EXA-7 kit.

Does the finished EXG-7 have a longer scale length than the EXA-7 kit? Being based on a Gibson model with a 24.75" scale length, the kit certainly has a 24.75" scale length (as Stefan has measured). But the description for the EXG-7 kits states they have a Fender scale length of 25.5". Is this correct and the pre-built guitars are a longer scale length (which can be beneficial if down-tuning) to the kits, or is this just a typo on the ECG-7 descriptions?

As Adam has posted the answer elsewhere, I'll repeat his answer here; there is a difference in scale length. The pre-built EXG-7 has a Fender 25.5" scale length whilst the EXA-7 kit has a Gibson 24.75" scale length.

So this presumably means that you could order a custom EXA-7 kit with a 25.5" scale if you wanted more string tension for your low B.
