    5000 posts - i need a life!

Well, this is my 5000th post...
A lot of them are stuff like - nice work, good job etc, and some involve stuff I've done, advice (questionable, haha) to others and really just being part of the goings on here.
I really attribute it all to the great forum members here.
I am inspired, have learnt a lot, and just enjoy it here.
I am constantly amazed by the astonishing quality of builds that show up here.
I love it that several go on to their own scratch builds.
I am impressed greatly by Adam, DB, Brendan, Gavmeister and the other staff heros who keep things running, and offer great service.

it's a great family vibe here and it's awesome to see families, partners and kids joining in.

It's a privilege to be on the GOTM panel and help judging the great builds that show up by experienced builders who constantly blow us away with beyond factory quality guitars and newbies who are either doing the same (amazing) or simply pumping out their first axe - but it's theirs and they love it , and should be proud of having even done it.

If I spent as much time building as typing I'd have more guitars.

There are people here whom i consider actual friends, even though I've never met them in person - I've met Lozza and he's a gent on and off the forum. I have had dealings with others , With Pabs, Wokka, DB , Adam and Lozza deserving special mention. People have sent me parts, I've sent people parts, I've bought and sold stuff.

There are people here with awesome specialist knowledge, be it in electronics (Wierdy), mixing, computers, pedals, amps, studio setups, and some top shelf musicians and hackers like me.

If I haven't named you, don't think you haven't been an influence, everyone has in some way.

I've done nothing special to get to this point, just hung around long enough and tried to fit in with this great community.

Thanks for all the fun, friendship and inspiration... rock on PBGers

Hey Stan, even though I haven't met you in person I still consider you a friend too, you've been a great inspiration to me for getting my Gold Strat build finished so I'd like to say cheers mate.

Wokka's been a great inspiration to me with the Gold Strat too as has anyone else I may have forgotten to mention, you know who you are.
