    I know the feeing I'm already thinking of ideas for my next two or three scratch builds. It's bloody addictive, there should be guitar builders anonymous, although I think it must be good for your Zehn or chie or some other holistic rubbish.

    There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    Cheers DB. Sadly it doesn't look like there's a bit/bearing combo that will give me precisely want I want though. I'm going to try my Macgyver idea, but if that doesn't work I'm resigned to getting the Stewmac one - I'm pretty sure it'll get its fair share of work in the future.

    Work around is to go multi layer bindings

    There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    Very true, but as my first excursion into the world of binding I'm desperately trying to keep it simple!!
