Found this one today while looking for a runaway table tennis ball (must have been one of Phil's shots)


I put it aside a couple of months ago to take a photo for Instagram, because, as you can see, it has quite a spectacular quilted maple veneer.

It does have a couple of small glue spots and a small area in the upper bout that may need a few square mm of filler. I've knocked off $20 for these issues, but you wouldn't be disappointed paying full price.

It has a really nice basswood body that looks like a one piece body; the join is so clean and well matched.

And! The neck is excellent, it's a nice darker maple and there's plenty of maple grainy goodness on the headstock.

Hmmm, very nice but I already have 2 Tele's nearing completion. Never seen a dark maple neck like that before and looks cool with the lighter fret board on top.

I think we have some 21 Fret Maple necks for TL in stock. I need to do a count of the necks and adjust the stock, as it is all out of whack due top the neck upgrade options we've been selling.

Edit: sorry I should clarify, we have the 21 Fret Maple Fretboard TL necks, not the rosewood fretboard.
