Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy with it.

Just spent all night setting it up, and I got it as close to done as I can. There are a few frets that need to be crowned better at some point, and my nut files don't go as wide as the low C string (0.056") so I dodgied up my own which did an ok job, but not perfect. I was going to cut a new nut anyway, so might try to find a file of the right width online.

It feels pretty good to play, and is a much nicer guitar to have in a drop tuning than the cheap strat copy I rescued from the tip (like, can it even stay in tune?)

I know I already posted this in the November GOTM, but thought I'd post some finished pics here too.

One of my mates is coming round today and he's about a million times better than me at playing, so I'll see if I can get him to do a demo video

John that spalted top with the black on the rest of the guitar looks awesome. Great job. Such a pity Pitbull don't do these kits anymore.

Your LP looks so clean. Like Sonic said, it has a subtle look, but definitely not understated. So classy!
