On my bridge the bass E was all the way to the back.
The high E was all the way forwards...and I needed it even further forwards.

If you want to try and gain a bit more you could probably file the front of the high E barrel.
That should get you a couple of millimetres.

From what i remember, plz dont quote me on this, its the bass e string being a little sharp so the bridge needs to go back a tad, or the adjusters need to be wound back more, but either removing the spring or shaving it down or shaving a bit off the adjusters or ALL OF THE ABOVE hopefully should do the trick. Soo after a couple of years and constant searching i managed to procure another bridge.
The reason being was that when i was building this one and due to my inexperience i failed to set the bridge on a 3 degree angle to allow for the low e string attenuation, so when i tune it the low e is always off.
I found 2 sorts of bridges that allowed for adjustment but the one i wanted sits up too high. So either i have to pull the bridge divets from the body..ouch... or angle back the neck with wedges. When i set it all up it looked like a violin setup..yuk.
No i want my strings on the level.
I have now fitted the second bridge. This had smaller adjusters so they can travel further allowing for more intonation.
Should work fingers crossed.

So the first pic is of the old original bridge that i got with the jaguar kit and the others are of the new bridge and both side by side. Much more adjustment both height and length. Sits nice and low too.

So while im waiting for my new mirror pickguard to come from Pitbull for mt TL-1 id better restring my modified JM - 1 and do the dreaded intonation, since ive change the bridge.
Ive been putting this off for ages seeing as im no good at it!
