    My Godsmack inspired LP build in progress.....

    Wow! Having only just embarked on the journey into masking, that's a seriously good effort!

    That's awesome! Love the idea!!
    I'm a little concerned about your finish around the edges, it's like you didn't go all the way to the edge, or is that perhaps some glue marks?

    That looks outstanding. Great way to spice up a spalted maple top without detracting from the figuring. And to do it all with masking is very impressive. You must have far steadier hands than I do.

    Yeah its the glue I think, it didn't show when I wiped it over with a damp cloth before I started and once I did a coat of clear it started to show through which is a bummer....
