Yes, I just threw them on there. There's also a 3 way switch to go in there too. Ideally it would be smaller, but the hole underneath is big... haven't drilled the holes yet.

Just polished up the face. Came up nice and glassy, although there are still a few tiny pits. Can't complain after what it looked like at one stage.....!

SHIIIIIINYYYY! You have to be happy with where you've taken this one Andy. That's a great save all up and that gloss, well,

Thank you! It's a polyurethane clear.
You are probably right re the nut Wokka, I'll try the strings that came with it on when I get it together, and work from there. A nice brass nut would suit it I think?
Bit more work while watching the Lego Movie with my son....

looking good Andy, yes a bone or brass nut will make it play much nicer for sure. Also the bridge saddle heights are probably different to the kit supplied bridge so you will have some setup tweaking to do

Yes I think the bridge saddle heights are too high. I'm planning on having to grind a little off of the bottom of them to allow them to sit lower in their slots, but I'll get some strings on it and get it up to tension and let it sit for a few days first.
