    Sv-1

Hi all. My second build, an SV-1. I built the guitar fairly stock standard. The only modifications are the scratch plate, the string tree and the jack plate. The guitar was finished in Dingtone Outback Sunset and Natural finish on the neck. I tried to get burnt a finish and I'm very happy with outcome. The pictures fail to capture the finer detail in the timber brought out with intensifying coat, but they look fantastic The guitar is extremely comfortable to play and sounds great with stock standard electronics. I opted for the darker scratch plate to go with Outback Sunset finish. I hope you enjoy the SV-1 as much as I do.

    Hello folks
Here's my SV1 completed. Feast Watson black stain with Cabot polyurethane clear.
All stock except for replacement nut (original threads went in cast alloy nut) and Allen bolts for the trem replaced with OEM ones as the heads of the stock ones were too soft.
Nice kit. Took ages to set up properly and fiddle with the fret heights, but happy with result.
The neck is lovely, thicker than the Ibanez Wizard necks but that's ok as I'm a bass player 😂.
Considering the whole guitar costs considerably less than a proper German floyd rose, I'd say this kit is a bargain!

Guy's Im about to start an SV-1.
Is there any tricks or traps with the scale length and getting the neck position in the pocket right?
