    Talking LAG HHH Refurbished

    Hey all,

Not really a PB guitar but a project I could never have finished without the much appreciated help from Simon and Weirdy. It gave me enough confidence to build a PB guitar from scratch, next year I think.

I gave my 'old' LAG rockline body a total makeover:
    - stripped all lacquer and paint
    - turned HSS into HHH with rainmaker (N) - liquifire (M) - dreamcatcher (B)
    - 3D printed PU guard
    - 3D printed electronics guard
    - Refinished
    - Rewired with series/split/parallel on all PU's and individual tone/vol concentric pots
    - Applied some personal touches:
    • SIBL Decal: the first letter of my 4 kids names
    • Petrucci signature: even an old man can have his heroes
    • Hummingbird decal: a little bird that symbolises that anything can be done, even fly backwards + symbol of love in some cultures
    • Phoenix decal on the back: the guitar rose from it's ashes, as I did once but that a different story :-)

Here some pictures and some sound samples (some own songs, some not)
Sounds were recorded with line 6 usb interface (before it broke down - see other post) --> cubase EL --> some plugins -->mp3
    Drums: toontracks superior drummer

Sounds great! You've got to be pretty happy with that.

Listening to the demo tracks now, this just reminded me that I need to do some work on my Jackson guitar to get it back in a playable state, I'll need to do the same with my BC Rich Joey Jordison Warlock II guitar.

    Nice demos by the way.
