    Non pitbull les paul part 2-hammer of the gods

    Well whilst waiting on things curing started a logo mock up. Decided to paint this in Hammered Gold!!! Hence Hammer of the Gods , also a nod to Led Zep autobiography / Jimmy page 1959 gold top with split coil switching, which will be part of this build hence using CUSTOM. And will leave the body Kiwi Polish Dark Tan, hence the fender inspired Original Boot Polish Body.

    I just printed them on regular paper using Word. Early days yet. Regards the body that's only 2 coats in the Picture so heaps more work...

    coming along well HB, looks like you got a bit more wet sanding to do on the gold paint

    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Early days regards paint havent sanded it yet, the paint dries slowly!!!!, Tried the Finger Nail test got days to go...

    yeah no worries HB, don't rush the next coat/sanding, curing times in sunny Melbourne will be pretty long

    Looking cool so far, never seen a guitar with a hammered finish before so this is pretty unique.

    Latest Photos...The body and neck Dark Tan Kiwi Boot Polish, the swirl marks are half way through a coat....The front Hammered Gold....Now it will cure for ever!!!!...The will clear coat.
