Hi blokes, my profile live in Melbourne. Played for 30 years. Opinionated. Seen the first ever Loolaplozza tour in US.I am buildind this for my brother, a Navy Vet who looks after PTSDY Vet, post tramatc stress vets. I am building a Tele , Quitded veneer, with Dingo Blue, No upgrades. But I will finish in French Polish. because a Tele is a tobe guitar.

sounds good Honeybadger, start a build diary when the kit arrives and ask any questions you have there

    Tobe guitar wtf??

Hi Fellas typo, Tone Guitar, I meant a tele is generally for those wanting a clean Treble/Tone. So I am not going to finish it in a thick Varnish which would not allow it to breath and kill the natural tone of the wood. So by going old school on the finish similiar to pre 1930 guitar production, I will give it a chance to maximise that tone I want, remember this is for those first timers so sure could improve pick ups for tone but that is a cost a first timer might not want.

    Guitar Arrived

The Kit arrived today, Very, Very impressed. Where to start, nicely packaged , I like the way all the screws are iin individual compartments. Dingo Tone coat heaps of gloves. Really nice touch Ernie Ball strings, but whats just as good it also has the cheap chinese ones, which having built another kit from other supplier in the past learnt that you generally break the high E when setting it up. So will use the cheapies to set it up and play them till they break then put on the Ernie Balls.
The Kit in question is the the TL-1HA, I requested a White Pearloid Scratch plate, which I got, thanks Adam. I also asked for chrome hardware, which I got and it has white binding....NOICE. However piece of feedback the neck I expected was supposed to be with a Rosewood fretboard as per discription, I got a Maple Neck with Maple fretboard, it is discriped as Maple but the neck looks Mahogany, at least compared to my Guinuine 2010 Fender Stat with is Maple with Maple fret.
BUT I am glad it is as I wanted it to be Maple..Just feedback to Adam.

BTW I am a terrible, terrible spella.
