scale length of 7 string guitar

    Hi,

I recently purchased this 7 string DIY kit http://www.pitbullguitars.com/shop/g...-kit-ash-body/, and the specs state that the scale is 25.5''. When I measured the scale length the result was 24.66''. Is this measured correctly? or are the specs for the DIY guitar not correct? I have attached photos with this post.

    Regards,

    Russell

Can you give us a measurement from the crown of the 12th fret to the saddles of the bridge. You definitely seem to have a 24.75 neck. I want to see if perhaps the sales thread is incorrect which will be the case if the bridge and saddles are in the correct place. Otherwise if not then the neck is wrong.

    EDIT:

I have just checked the link you provided and the sales thread confirms a Maple set neck (C Profile) with Rosewood fingerboard (22 medium jumbo frets, 12″ radius, 24.75″ scale).

There should therefore be no issues with the guitar?
