Cleaning out my shed/garage workshop, need room for toys like power tools.
My garage is stacked to the roof with all sorts of rubbish, my wife says i am a hoarder, but i know as soon as i throw something out i will need it.
Today i bought all my guitar bodies into the house and lo and behold in the bottom of a box was something i thought i had lost forever, its the template taken from a 1951 Telecaster, cant wait to get started on some Ancient Kauri with this one.
And then to my surprise i found the guitar i am needing to be restoring but had mostly forgotten about.
Its a Watkins Rapier 22 circ 1962 built in the Uk, I have another Rapier the 33 and the vintage toaster pickups are superb.
My place used to be like that but with 50's Chev and 60'sHolden parts, then classic British bikes bits. I had a clean out last year and the vultures swooped and picked the place clean. I still find odd bits of things in cupboards.
34's Enfeilds and a 55 AJS twin here had an awful HD Aeromachi as well but we won't talk about that. 46 Buick, 51 F1, 57 Chev, 66 Chev, 67 Galaxy and countless EH's.
Yeh had a ton of EH's and HR's, lots of bikes, rode speedway in the early 70's then MotoX then Road, tones of bikes, last one was a Moto Guzzi Mille GT, i wish i still had that bike.
