Hey Matt sounds like a plan. I've never used wipe on poly and only heard negative feedback about it.

No problems with wipe on poly here, but i will shoot poly or nitro or whatever next time i am using that sort of finish.
Does anyone have a good p90 wiring diagram for me, preferably as simple as possible to follow
Hey Matt, wiring diagram should be as per standard LP wiring, presuming your P90's just have hot and earth wire and not 4 wires ?
try this

Awesome that looks fairly easy to follow, ill do what ive seen others do and trace it out onto card matching the locations and distances so that i can wire it up easily.
Need to sand back my latest coat of paint, new pics to come soon...
Hey Matt the wiring diagrams are pretty straight forward. Just orientate the pots the correct way (it's easy to get the 2 outside pot lugs reversed) and alot of people get the hot and earth join on the output jack the wrong way around.
I use a piece of cardboard and mount the pots on that and rest it over the control cavity and try not drop hot solder on the finish !
I also earth the volume pots and put the capacitor on the tone pots first up, can mount them in a vice so you have 2 free hands to solder.
Anyway you are a while of wiring but good to plan ahead

Just finished sanding back the second coat of Montana Black, all taped up ready for the third and hopefully final.
I want to give the top a solid layer of paint to then clear over and cut back to a sharp finish.
Sanding all the orange peel back made it look really nice but some spots did go back to the white primer. The weird discolouring in the horn is from the stain sinking into the wood filler that must have been used in the factory. Its not too obvious in person so im ok with it.
looking good Matty !
