    RC-1 Hardware installation

    Good day,

I'm just wondering if there's any videos/guides here in the forum about drilling holes for the screws to go in for guitar hardware? ex. Bridge tailpieces, pickups, and tuning heads.

I'm not too sure which dimensions to follow in terms of drilling the holes.

Would really appreciate any help I can get.

Generally speaking, a 1.5mm drill bit will suffice for tuners, pickguards and pickup holes.
    I use a 2.5mm bit for bridges.

Handy tip, wax or soft soap the screw heads before driving the screws. This will help the screw to drive without shearing off the head, especially on the tuner screws.

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
