    Interesting article Kimball.
    Part of me wants to accept the premis of the theory and part of me wants to call marketing shenanigans

    I guess only time will tell, as one of the reponders wrote, lets meet back here in 40 years time and see..

    There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    Don't know if it has any tonal benefits, but the whole heating in a vacuum idea does sound quite plausible from a science perspective to preserve the wood and keep it in shape for longer...

    Seen a few Charvel Guitars with the torrefied maple necks. Guthrie Govan swears by the stability
