The good news is that I reckon with a bit of sanding and some judicious use of some super glue to fill in the worst of the divots, I think I can salvage it to the point where I can finish the body off, the other good thing is that the worst of the divots is virtually un-noticeable when looking at the guitar from the front, the last few coats of gold paint have had plenty of time to dry now, so, soon as Darwin's weather dries up I'll continue working on the guitar.
