The premise has always been that we are a community that goes out of their way to help each other. This comes from the top as you will see from Ad’s post.

And there is a third way to sort an issue, a polite email to find out what the problem is. I did this when i bought my Warmans, no wiring diagram. After an email was sent i received 2 diagrams on the exact configuration i needed.
Something like... Dear sir, im absolutely delighted with my pickups but have no idea how to wire them as no diagram was included. I know this was probably an oversite so could you please get in touch. Yours Sincerely.....Fred .
Always give them the benefit of a doubt as with most companies its about pr and their reputation. They are usually more than happy to help.
Then if they dont respond after a satisfactory amount of time...set the dogs on them...lol

For what it is worth, I built my IB-5 with a set of Bartolini soap bars. I wired up switching for each pick-up with coils in parallel humbucking, series humbuck or single coil, as per the Bartolini 4-conductor diagram. https://www.bartolini.net/wp-content...ng-Diagram.pdf

This may provide some inspiration, but obviously confirm the Benson wiring first!

I went with a two volume pot into a single tone pot arrangement for this build.

I'm not fussed with the lack of wiring diagram. I know which wires are the middle connection (they're soldered together) and I'll see which of the others I use for ground and hot. At the end of the day it will only change which way the coils are used and as long as I set the 2 pickups the same we should be fine.

For wiring I've ordered push pull pots to split coils. I'll use them to replace the tone pots.

The vols will stay the same as now: a blend pot followed by a master vol. Works fine for me as I can blend the 2x pups with only one pot and the master vol is usually only used to mute the bass.

Now I need to find some time...
