    Hey Woks, EMG's, the Active Humbuckers

    I have the EMG 85 in the bridge. It just sounds great. It has a nice warm and chunky thickness to it. I have an EMG 81 which sounds great in the neck and lets the tone cut through, its a much brighter pickup but the combo is great.

    I know that James Hetfield (from Metallica for people who dunno who he is) uses a modded version of the 81 in his guitars! I definitely like the 81 and 85, good pickups IMO
