    Baritone conversion neck test..

Age, experience and a whole bunch of stuff ups has taught me to always do a test run before leaping in balls out....

So, here we have various sized timbers milled for a 5 piece laminate neck blank.

    Stay tuned for more fun!

Sooooo, dye attempt MK1 was an abject failure.
The dye didnt Mrs Marsh at all (those of us over 45 will know what I mean)

Now have the strips rolled up and soaking in a solution of thinners and dye.
Will see if this works, if not its back to the drawing board.

I'm under 45, but am I on the right track?

    Alrighty then.

Left the strips to soak in a supa secret blend for 24 hours..
Seems to have done the trick.

It came up lighter but when the finish goes on I reckon it will darken up.
    Fingers crossed.......
