DB - can you stop with the base coats with DingoTone (do you need a top coat)? Loving the sheen and feel of the single coat of the base on my jazz bass.

You sure can, Brendan.
It may need a few more coats of the finish coat to get good coverage though
There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
