I tried it over a poly finish on the headstock and it turned up nice and shiny and feels great so itll probably be similar over the dt clear coats.

1st final coat on. Liking the shine Im getting (its still a bit wet so I'm cheating a little with the photography.) Can't wait to slap on some more coats but I gotta be patient. 2 or 3 more final coats and i'll be done with the finishing.
I let the finish coat cure and I've got something a little like poly orange peel. I steel wooled it and it came off and it was all fine, but i'm just wondering if thats normal or if its a problem with my drying environment or something, cos i can change that if thats the case.
Hi Ult ... I see from Adam's "pricing" post that you're a student too ... what/where are you studying?
Wait a minute ... that sounds like Rock and/or Roll!
SG-1 ... "Little Miss" finished in Flamenco Cherry Wudtone
TL-1A ... "Slugger" finished in Antique White Nitro
EX-1 ... "Metal God" finished in nickel-plate (work in progress)
ST-1A ... "Scrapper" stained and finished in linseed oil ... and with the "secret weapon"
GR-1SF ... "Rocker-billy" (just arrived, work in progress)
I'm in my final year of high school at James Ruse over here in Sydney. Guitar building has kept me sane while the pressures of exams get to me.
Here's what I hope to be the last DT coat, but I have a Christmas party coming up so I thought itd be best to keep other humans from putting their filthy hands all over it while the finish is still wet. I guess everyone has a body or two in their closet.
Sorry this is very late in posting, I finished this on Christmas day. Been bogged down by festivities and work so it took a while for me to have the time to upload it without swearing at my slow internet.
Looks fantastic. Need to get this in to GOTM, stat!
